Role Summary
We are hiring a Sales Coordinator to support CONTRANS' growing sales team. This is an inside, desk-based role focused on tele-calling manufacturers, traders, and importers, qualifying leads, maintaining the daily sales tracker, and ensuring smooth pipeline movement from first call to closure. The role is the backbone of the sales engine — disciplined, process-driven, and detail-oriented. Candidate having experience in Freight Forwarding, will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
Tele-calling & Lead Qualification
Making daily bulk outbound calls from the master account list to manufacturers, traders, and importers
Identify and verify the Person-In-Charge (PIC) — procurement, purchase, director, or owner level
Introduce CONTRANS, gauge interest, and capture key client details accurately
Pipeline & Funnel Management
Move accounts through the funnel stages: Calling → PIC Verified → Introduction → Meeting → Registration → Query → Quotation → Business
Schedule meetings for field sales executives and senior management
Follow up persistently on pending queries, quotations, and registrations
Daily Sales Report (DSR) & Data Hygiene
Maintain and update the DSR tracker daily on Google Sheets — calls made, connects, PIC details, stage movement, remarks
Keep the master account list (~150+ companies) clean, deduplicated, and current
Update the contact directory with names, designations, mobile numbers, and emails
Tag accounts by tier (T1 / T2 / T3) and category (Manufacturer / Trader / Importer)
Coordination & Support
Coordinate between field sales representative and clients — sharing quotations, brochures, follow-up reminders
Send WhatsApp/email introductions, company profiles, and product information to verified PICs
Support quotation drafting and dispatch under guidance from the sales team
Reporting
Share daily call reports with the manager
Prepare weekly KPI summaries — calls, connects, PIC verifications, meetings booked, quotations sent
Flag hot leads and stuck accounts proactively
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Graduate in any discipline
Experience: 1–3 years in tele-sales, inside sales, sales coordination, or back-office sales support (B2B preferred)
Languages: Fluent Hindi (mandatory); working English for emails and reporting; any regional language (Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil) is a plus.
Tools: Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets (filters, formulas, sorting), Gmail, WhatsApp Business, and basic CRM tools
Communication: Clear, confident phone manner; polite and professional with senior decision-makers.
