Job Description

A Sales Executive drives revenue by finding new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and closing deals, involving lead generation (cold calls, networking, online), product presentations, negotiations, and meeting targets, all while managing client data in a CRM and representing the company at events. Their responsibilities span the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to after-sales support, focusing on understanding needs and providing tailored solutions. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identifying new business opportunities through cold calling, emails, social media, networking, and attending trade shows.

  • Client Engagement: Meeting with potential and existing clients (virtually or in-person) to understand needs, present solutions, and demonstrate products/services.

  • Sales Process Management: Preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, processing orders, and closing deals to meet sales goals.

  • Relationship Building: Maintaining strong relationships with clients, handling inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Reporting & Tracking: Accurately updating client records in CRM software and reporting on sales performance against targets.

  • Market & Product Knowledge: Staying updated on industry trends, competitors, and product features to offer expert advice.

  • Collaboration: Working with internal teams (marketing, support) for a cohesive client experience. 

Core Duties:

  • Making sales calls/visits.

  • Giving product demonstrations.

  • Establishing new business.

  • Negotiating and closing sales.

  • Maintaining accurate records in CRM.

  • Attending conferences/exhibitions.

  • Reviewing sales performance. 

Goals:

  • Achieve monthly/annual sales targets (quotas).

  • Drive company revenue growth.

  • Build and maintain a strong client base
