Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Management & Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and monitor a team of sales/trading professionals.

  • Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.

  • Allocate targets and ensure team meets sales and revenue goals.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Support team in acquiring new HNI and retail clients.

  • Oversee client engagement and ensure timely issue resolution.

  • Maintain and grow a portfolio of high-value clients.

3. Business Development

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase client base and trading volume.

  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities for mutual funds, insurance, PMS, etc.

  • Work closely with marketing and product teams for campaigns.

4. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all trading and investment activities comply with SEBI and exchange regulations.

  • Monitor client documentation and KYC norms.

  • Address escalations related to trades, settlement, and service.

5. Operational Oversight

  • Oversee smooth execution of trades and daily operations.

  • Ensure team follows internal SOPs and technology platforms.

  • Analyze reports on trade volume, revenue generation, and client feedback.

6. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare regular MIS reports on team performance.

  • Track KPIs like revenue, client acquisition, activation, and trade turnover.

  • Provide actionable insights to senior management.
