The Sales Coordinator supports the sales team by managing customer orders, coordinating with production and logistics, preparing sales documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of products. This role acts as a key link between customers, the sales department, and internal manufacturing operations.
Process sales orders, quotations, and inquiries accurately in the ERP/CRM system.
Verify product availability, lead times, and pricing before order confirmation.
Track order status and ensure on-time delivery by coordinating with production, planning, and logistics teams.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer queries regarding orders, deliveries, and product information.
Maintain strong customer relationships by providing timely updates and resolving issues.
Handle customer complaints and coordinate internally to provide solutions.
Work closely with production, procurement, inventory, and quality teams to ensure smooth order flow.
Communicate customer requirements and special instructions clearly to relevant departments.
Follow up on production schedules and delivery timelines.
Prepare sales reports, order status updates, and performance dashboards.
Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and delivery notes.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
Assist the sales team with scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing correspondence.
Update customer databases, price lists, and product catalogs.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience as a Sales Coordinator, Customer Service Executive, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of order processing and manufacturing workflows.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP/CRM systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
