Hiring For Sales Coordinator for Leading Metal & Steel Industry
Location: Charni Road, Mumbai
Role Overview:
The Sales Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring smooth coordination between the Sales Team, Clients, and Internal Departments, enabling accurate and timely processing of sales orders, quotations, and follow-ups. The position requires excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills to maintain seamless workflow and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inquiry Handling
• Receive sales inquiries from sales representatives via WhatsApp or email
• Acknowledge each inquiry with a unique reference number and send an acknowledgment email to the client.
2. Quotation Management
• Receive and review quotations from sales representatives for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure no errors in pricing, material grade, or quantity before sending to customers.
• Send finalized quotations to clients via email and confirm by call or message.
3. Client Follow-Up Process
• Conduct systematic follow-ups after sending quotations:
1st Follow-Up: Immediately after quotation submission.
2nd Follow-Up: 3–4 days after the first follow-up.
3rd Follow-Up: 3–4 days after the second follow-up.
Final Follow-Up: Before closing the inquiry.
4. Order Status & Updates
• Update the Inquiry Capture Sheet with the status of each order — Won or Lost — along with the reason.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Dispatch, and Accounts) for smooth order processing and delivery.
• Inform sales representatives and clients regarding order confirmation, delays, or dispatch status.
5. Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain accurate records of inquiries, quotations, and order statuses in CRM/FMS.
• Support management by providing regular reports and insights on client communication and conversion rates.
• Ensure all client data and reference numbers are updated systematically.
Skills & Qualifications:
• 2–5 years of experience in Sales Coordination or Inside Sales (preferably in Industrial or Steel Industry).
• Strong communication and email drafting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM/FMS software.
• Excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Working Days: Monday to Saturday
• Location: Charni Road Office (On-site)
• Salary: As per industry standards and experience
