Job Description

The Sales Coordinator at our manufacturing unit plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales team, ensuring seamless communication between the sales, production, and logistics departments. This role involves coordinating sales activities, managing customer accounts, processing orders, and providing administrative support to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Support:

    • Assist the sales team with daily sales operations, including preparing sales reports, tracking sales metrics, and updating customer records.

    • Handle inquiries from customers and provide them with product information, pricing, and availability.

  2. Order Processing:

    • Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy in order entry, and coordinate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.

    • Monitor and track orders from initiation to delivery, resolving any issues that arise during the process.

  3. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, providing them with excellent service and addressing their needs promptly.

    • Handle customer complaints and issues, escalating them to the appropriate departments when necessary.

  4. Sales Coordination:

    • Coordinate sales activities between the sales team, production department, and logistics to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery.

    • Schedule and organize sales meetings, conferences, and events as needed.

  5. Administrative Support:

    • Maintain sales records, prepare sales documentation, and manage the sales database.

    • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.

  6. Market Research:

    • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends.

    • Assist in developing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

  7. Reporting:

    • Generate regular sales reports and analysis for the sales manager and senior management.

    • Monitor sales performance against targets and provide insights for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales coordination, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Skills:

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software.

    • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment within a manufacturing unit.

  • May require occasional travel to meet with customers or attend industry events.
