Job Overview:
Poolcity Resort, a premium getaway in Shahapur, is seeking an experienced Resort Manager to oversee
the entire resort’s operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, with at
least 10 years of experience in managing resort operations and leading large teams. This role requires a
strategic leader who can drive guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance while
maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Overall Resort Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth functioning across all
departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, Security, and Recreation).
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a workforce of 100+ employees, ensuring staff
motivation, training, and development.
• Guest Experience: Maintain high guest satisfaction scores by ensuring top-notch service, handling
escalations, and implementing quality improvements.
• Revenue & Cost Management: Monitor budgets, control operational costs, optimize profitability, and
drive revenue growth through innovative strategies.
• Sales & Marketing Coordination: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to improve
occupancy rates, attract corporate and leisure travelers, and develop promotional activities.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety standards, including
health, hygiene, and environmental policies.
• Vendor & Inventory Management: Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee
procurement for smooth resort operations.
• Event & Activity Planning: Oversee resort activities, special events, and guest engagement programs to
enhance the overall experience.
Key Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in resort/hotel operations, with at least 5 years in a senior
management role and pre-opening
• Proven track record of managing large teams (60+ employees) and driving high-performance cultures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in budget management, cost control, and revenue optimization.
• Ability to handle guest concerns and implement service excellence strategies.
• Knowledge of hospitality technology, PMS systems, and operational software.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Experience working in resort destinations like Karjat, Lonavala, Goa, etc will be an advantage.
