A Relationship Manager is responsible for acquiring, managing, and retaining high-value clients (including Premium, Aspire, or Signature Banking) by selling liability products (CASA, FD), cross-selling investment/insurance products, and providing tailored financial solutions to meet revenue targets. They drive customer onboarding, ensure compliance (KYC/AML), and enhance portfolio value through active relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Acquisition: Acquire new high-end current accounts and, or resident/NRI relationships through open market leads, referrals, and catchment mapping.
Portfolio Management & Deepening: Increase liabilities (CASA) and investment AUM (Assets Under Management) by deepening existing relationships.
Cross-Selling: Cross-sell products including Trade/FX, CMS/DSB, insurance, SIPs, lockers, and credit/debit cards to enhance revenue.
Customer Service & Activation: Ensure 80% customer account maintenance, 75% internet banking penetration, and smooth onboarding/activation.
Compliance & Audit: Adhere strictly to banking policies, KYC, and AML guidelines.
Reporting: Maintain high-quality documentation to reduce rejection rates.
Requirements
Experience: 2–5+ years in banking/NBFC, with experience in Current Account acquisition or SME segment preferred.
Education: Graduate degree (minimum), with MBA preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, networking, negotiation, and analytical skills, along with proficiency in MS Excel.
Certifications: Mandatory AMFI and IRDA certifications.
