Relationship Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and Business Development:

  Identifying potential customers, developing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets within the bancassurance channel. 

• Relationship Building:

  Building strong relationships with bank staff and customers to foster trust and encourage sales. 

• Product Knowledge:

  Being well-versed in insurance products, including life, health, and other financial products offered through the bancassurance channel. 

• Customer Needs Assessment:

  Analyzing customer needs and recommending appropriate insurance products to meet their financial goals. 

• Sales and Support:

  Providing pre and post-sales support to bank staff and customers, ensuring a positive customer experience. 

• Target Achievement:

  Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets within the bancassurance channel. 

• Compliance:

  Adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies related to sales and insurance. 

• Performance Management:

  Conducting regular performance reviews and providing feedback to bank staff to improve sales performance. 

• Team Management (for managerial roles):

  Hiring, training, and developing a team of sales professionals to drive sales growth within the bancassurance channel. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Sales and Relationship Building Skills:

  Strong sales and interpersonal skills are crucial for building relationships with bank staff and customers. 

• Product Knowledge:

  A thorough understanding of insurance products and banking services is essential. 

• Communication Skills:

  Excellent communication skills are needed to explain insurance products and answer customer queries. 

• Analytical Skills:

  The ability to analyze customer needs and identify cross-selling opportunities is important. 

• Target Achievement:

  A strong focus on achieving sales targets and exceeding performance expectations is required. 

• Experience:

  Previous experience in sales, particularly in the insurance or banking sector, is often preferred. 

• Education:

  A bachelor's degree or equivalent is often required, with a focus on finance, business, or a related field.
