We are hiring for the position of Relationship Manager – Liabilities for our Chennai location.

Role Overview

The Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and deepening relationships with HNI and affluent customers, growing CASA and Term Deposit (TD) business, acquiring new customers and providing suitable investment and insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deepen relationships with mapped HNI/affluent customers.

• Acquire new HNI customers and grow the customer book.

• Drive CASA, TD and overall liability business.

• Cross-sell and upsell banking, investment, insurance and other third-party products.

• Identify customer investment needs and provide appropriate financial solutions.

• Manage customer portfolios and increase wallet share.

• Generate referrals and acquire new-to-bank customers.

• Drive revenue through investments, insurance and asset referrals.

• Activate and promote digital banking and wealth-management channels.

• Ensure high-quality customer service and resolve customer queries effectively.

• Track market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.

• Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, audit and compliance requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 4+ years of experience in Relationship Management / Acquisition / Branch Banking / Wealth Management.

• Experience handling HNI / Affluent / Preferred / Priority customers will be preferred.

• Strong understanding of CASA, Term Deposits, Investments, and Third-Party Products.

• Proven track record in customer acquisition, revenue generation and portfolio deepening.

• Strong local network in Chennai.

• Excellent communication, relationship management and selling skills.

• Candidates from Banks, Small Finance Banks, NBFCs or Boutique Wealth Management firms are welcome.

• IRDA certification and NISM certification with valid EUIN will be an advantage.
