Quick Commerce Manager — Key Role
Primary Objective:
To aggressively grow the company's quick-commerce business by increasing GMV, orders, profitability, assortment, visibility and market share across all quick-commerce platforms.

1. Business Growth & Revenue
Own monthly and quarterly sales targets for each platform.
Develop a growth plan for Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Zepto and new platforms.
Identify opportunities to increase GMV, AOV and order frequency.
Set platform-wise targets for revenue, units and contribution margin.
Track performance against targets on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Identify underperforming platforms, SKUs and cities and create corrective action plans.
Continuously look for new revenue opportunities and new quick-commerce channels.
2. Platform Account Management
Build strong relationships with category managers, buyers and account managers.
Negotiate:
Better visibility
Homepage/category placements
Search visibility
Brand stores
Promotional slots
Better commissions/margins
New-city expansion
New SKU onboarding
Ensure that agreed commercial and marketing commitments are delivered by platforms.
Resolve operational and commercial issues quickly.
3. Assortment & SKU Growth
Decide the right assortment for each platform based on customer demand and price points.
Identify hero SKUs that can drive volume.
Launch new products specifically designed for quick commerce.
Analyze SKU-level sales and remove/replace consistently poor performers.
Ensure the right price architecture, especially across ₹599, ₹999, ₹1,499, ₹1,999 and premium price points.
Work with the product team to identify gaps in the portfolio.
4. Inventory & Availability
This should be a major KPI because sales cannot grow if products are out of stock.
Maintain high in-stock percentage across platforms.
Forecast demand by SKU and city.
Coordinate with warehouse/operations for timely replenishment.
Monitor dark-store inventory.
Identify products going OOS and take immediate action.
Reduce slow-moving and excess inventory.
Maintain healthy inventory days.
5. Marketing & Visibility
The manager should own the ROI of quick-commerce marketing spends.
Prepare monthly marketing plans for every platform.
Plan:
Search ads
Sponsored listings
Homepage placements
Category banners
Brand stores
Campaigns
Offers
Platform-led events
Negotiate additional visibility wherever possible without increasing spend.
Track ROAS, CAC, incremental GMV and marketing ROI.
Ensure marketing money is spent on activities that generate sales and build the brand.
Push platforms for additional visibility against committed marketing investments.
6. Pricing & Promotions
Monitor competitor pricing daily/weekly.
Recommend selling prices and promotional prices.
Plan platform-specific offers without damaging overall pricing.
Identify products where discounts can generate incremental volume.
