Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing local materials, consumables, and spares required for factory operations.

• Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for price negotiation, quotations, and timely delivery.

• Maintain proper documentation of purchases including bills, quotations, and delivery challans.

• Visit local markets and suppliers as per requirement to ensure availability and quality of goods.

• Follow up on orders, track delivery schedules, and resolve any procurement-related issues.

• Ensure adherence to company policies for procurement, quality standards, and budget control.

• Maintain and update the local vendor database.

• Support inventory and stock audits along with the stores department.

Key Skills:

• Basic understanding of procurement and inventory procedures.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Knowledge of local markets and vendors around Kolkata, Burrabazar.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic documentation.

• Good time management and ability to multitask.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: Minimum H.S. (12th pass)

• Experience: minimum 3 years in local procurement or factory-related purchases.

• Language: Bengali, Hindi, English (basic understanding/thoda-thoda).

Other Requirements:

• Preferred two-wheeler (bike) for local visits.

• Willing to travel locally as per factory needs.

• Honest, dependable, and willing to work in a team.
