Production Manager

A. Production Planning & Control

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.

• Ensure achievement of production targets as per sales demand.

• Monitor raw material availability and production schedules.

• Optimize machine utilization and production efficiency.

A. Quality Management

• Ensure cattle feed is manufactured as per approved formulations.

• Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) team for quality compliance.

• Monitor product consistency, pellet quality, and nutritional standards.

• Ensure compliance with FSSAI/BIS and company quality standards.

A. Plant Operations

• Supervise batching, grinding, mixing, pelleting, and packing operations.

• Minimize machine downtime and production losses.

• Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.

• Ensure smooth operation of all plant equipment.

A. Team Management

• Manage production supervisors and plant workers.

• Allocate manpower effectively across shifts.

• Conduct training programs on safety, quality, and productivity.

• Maintain discipline and employee motivation.

A. Cost & Resource Management

• Monitor production costs and wastage.

• Control raw material consumption and process losses.

• Improve productivity and operational efficiency.

• Implement cost-saving initiatives.

A. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and PPE usage.

• Maintain housekeeping and hygiene standards.

• Conduct safety audits and corrective actions.

• Ensure statutory and environmental compliance.
