Back End Sales Executive 

Job in Brief : Back end Sales Executive primarily handles sales processes and supports the sales team by managing customer data, processing orders, and generating sales reports. They work closely with the front-end sales team to ensure seamless transactions and customer satisfaction.Key responsibilities include obtaining data from online seller platforms and do product listing optimization,inventory/collections setup, and basic performance tracking.

Relevant Experience: Minimum 1 year experience as back end sale sexecutive  

fSalary & Benefits: ₹ 22000/ month  as fixed + Performance-based Incentives.Executives typically earn around ₹4000 monthly in incentives by efficiently and accurately closing orders.

Working days: Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with Saturdays ending at 3:30 PM. Sundays are off.

Paid Leaves : About 12

Probation Period: 2 Months

Skills Required:

·        Minimum 1 year of experience in backend sales tasks such as updating product descriptions,looking after international  logistics, updating the customer data base by finding new lead, coordination and reporting

·        Should have basic knowledge of sales and customer service practices

·        Minimum 1 year experience of backend sales

·         Ability to handle data,organise and analyse data and market trends.

·        Good communication skills written and verbal in English

·        Problem-solving:ability to resolve issues.

·        Understanding of different market dynamics and consumer behaviour in various countries. 

·        Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google sheets and CRM tools 

·        Detail-oriented with strong coordination and follow-up skills

Key Responsibilities:

1.       Marketplace  Ensure consistency of product descriptions, pricing, Stock Keeping Units ( SKUs), tags, and categories across platform update inventory, stock syncs, and shipping settings

2.       International Logistics: Manage international order flow from confirmation to dispatch

  • Monitor platform-specific metrics (e.g., Faire fulfilment rate, Etsy shop score) and ensure adherence to marketplace policies

  • Collaborate with logistics team to ensure on-time, cost-effective international shipping

  • Handle queries, returns, and customer communication on each platform

3.     Sales and marketing:

  • Create and manage product listings across Faire, Etsy, and Shopify with optimized content and accurate details

  • Track product performance, reviews, and customer feedback to improve listings

4.       Lead Research & Database Building : Find new potential buyers (retailers, boutiques, gift shops, etc.) from Faire & Etsy search

Instagram business pages,Google Maps & directories (e.g., crystal shops USA, yoga boutiques UK),Check for verified email addresses, location, and website  Organize leads into an Excel sheet or CRM with proper tags, (e.g., Country, Type of Store, Email, Website, Instagram Link),Update and clean the database regularly to avoid duplicates or errors,Track which leads were newly added or removed each week

5.        Coordination & Reporting :  Coordinate with content, photography, and backend teams for product launche,Generate weekly reports on sales, returns, reviews, and platform health,Maintain platform documentation and standard operating procedures

6.     Sales Optimization & Reporting  Prepare weekly reports by tracking conversions, sales growth, abandoned carts, and outreach campaigns for performance improvement, Identify high-potential countries and recommend product/price localization
