Role Summary

A reputed hospitality organization is looking for a hands-on OTA Executive with experience in managing OTA platforms as well as hotel/resort sales activities.

The ideal candidate should preferably have experience with small hotels, boutique hotels, budget hotels, or independent properties and should be comfortable handling day-to-day OTA operations along with sales and booking-related activities.

The candidate should be capable of managing OTA listings, rates, inventory, availability, promotions, bookings and cancellations, while also supporting direct sales and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

OTA Management

• Manage day-to-day operations on major OTA platforms such as MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia and other relevant platforms.

• Update and manage room rates, inventory, availability and promotions.

• Ensure accurate room mapping, room categories, tariffs and property information.

• Maintain rate parity and availability across different OTA platforms.

• Monitor OTA bookings, cancellations, modifications and room pickup.

• Ensure proper visibility and availability of rooms on OTA channels.

• Coordinate with hotel/property teams regarding room availability and booking requirements.

Hotel Sales & Revenue Support

• Handle sales enquiries and convert potential bookings into confirmed business.

• Follow up with prospective customers and travel-related enquiries.

• Support the property in generating direct bookings and additional room revenue.

• Understand room categories, tariffs, packages and promotional offers.

• Monitor competitor rates and market pricing.

• Identify opportunities to improve occupancy and revenue.

• Maintain good relationships with customers and travel partners where required.

OTA Promotions & Listings

• Manage OTA promotions, offers, packages and seasonal campaigns.

• Ensure property content, room descriptions, photographs and other listing information remain updated.

• Monitor guest reviews, ratings and feedback on OTA platforms.

• Coordinate with the property team for resolution of OTA-related issues.

Reporting & Coordination

• Maintain daily/weekly reports relating to bookings, cancellations, revenue and occupancy.

• Track OTA performance and sales conversion.

• Coordinate with reservation/front office/property teams for smooth booking execution.

• Resolve basic OTA extranet, mapping and inventory-related issues.

• Maintain proper records of enquiries, bookings and follow-ups.

Candidate Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in hotel OTA operations and/or hotel sales.

• Candidates from small hotels, boutique hotels, budget hotels, independent properties or similar hospitality establishments will be preferred.

• Hands-on experience with major OTA platforms is essential.

• Good understanding of hotel room rates, inventory, availability and bookings.

• Experience in hotel/resort sales and customer follow-up will be an advantage.

• Knowledge of PMS / Channel Manager systems preferred.

• Experience with eZee or similar hotel software will be an added advantage.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.

• Good communication and negotiation skills.

• Strong follow-up and conversion ability.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple activities simultaneously.

• Candidates should be comfortable working in a target-oriented hospitality environment.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on hotel professional from a small/boutique/budget hotel environment who understands both OTA operations and hotel sales.

The candidate should be comfortable managing OTA platforms independently while actively contributing towards bookings, sales conversion, occupancy and revenue generation.

Compensation

• Salary: ₹30,000–₹35,000 per month.

• Salary will depend on experience, relevant skills and overall suitability.
