Source certified organic raw materials required for modified starch production directly from organic farmers, FPOs, and cooperatives.
Build, manage, and sustain long-term relationships with organic farmers across sourcing regions.
Provide on-field support and guidance to farmers on organic cultivation practices aligned with NPOP & NOP standards.
Independently handle NPOP & NOP certification processes, including application, inspection coordination, audit compliance, renewals, and corrective actions.
Manage complete Transaction Certificate (TC) documentation for all organic procurements to ensure end-to-end traceability from farm to factory.
Coordinate and maintain strong working relationships with NPOP & NOP certification bodies / agencies for timely certification and regulatory compliance.
Ensure full compliance with traceability, mass balance, and organic integrity requirements as per quality and export standards.
Conduct regular farm visits, internal audits, and supplier evaluations to ensure adherence to organic protocols.
Support farmer conversion programs (conventional to organic) to expand Angel Starch’s organic sourcing base.
Work closely with Quality Assurance, Production, and Export Compliance teams to ensure uninterrupted organic material flow.
Prepare and maintain sourcing reports, certification records, farmer data, and audit documentation.
Assist during internal audits, customer audits, and third-party organic inspections.
Monitor seasonal availability, pricing trends, and risks related to organic raw material sourcing.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong practical knowledge of organic sourcing and farm-level operations.
Proven expertise in NPOP & NOP certification handling.
Hands-on experience in Transaction Certificate (TC) management.
Excellent relationship management skills with farmers, FPOs, and certification agencies.
High level of documentation accuracy and compliance orientation.
Willingness to travel extensively to farming locations.
Good negotiation, coordination, and communication skills..
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Organic Agriculture / Agronomy / Agri-Business Management/ Horticulture & Forestry Masters Degree in Horticulture/ Forestry/ Agronomy or related discipline.
Formal training or certification in NPOP / NOP organic systems will be an added advantage.
3-4 Years Experience in USDA APPROVED NOP / EU APPROVED NPOP CERTIFIED Organic Agricultural/ Horticultural Products Across South India With TC - Transactional Certificates.
Expertise in Managing TC With Farmers & Coordinating with Certification Bodies as per Their Requirements
Relevant experience in organic sourcing within food ingredients, agri-processing, starch, or export-oriented manufacturing companies.
Demonstrated experience working directly with organic farmers and certification bodies.
Existing professional network with NPOP & NOP certification bodies / agencies.
Experience handling organic sourcing for export markets (USA / EU).
Familiarity with raw materials used in starch or food ingredient manufacturing.
Self-driven, field-oriented professional with a strong compliance mindset.
