Role Overview

Shiksharatan India Foundation is seeking a high-caliber Operations Head to lead our organizational ecosystem. As a key leadership figure, you will be responsible for streamlining our operational backbone, ensuring regulatory compliance within the education sector, and scaling our social impact initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between visionary educational goals and disciplined execution, managing diverse teams to achieve seamless delivery of our programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Governance: Develop and enforce robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across recruitment, academic delivery, and administration to ensure organizational consistency.

• Strategic Growth: Collaborate with the Director to design and implement 2026-2027 growth strategies; manage the annual corporate calendar and resource allocation.

• Performance Management: Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for department heads (Sales, Academics, and Operations) to drive accountability.

• Compliance & Legal: Ensure all institutional policies align with state and federal educational regulations; oversee the management of corporate property and legal documentation.

• Talent Oversight: Work closely with HR to refine interview frameworks, onboarding protocols, and disciplinary policies to maintain a high-performance culture.

• Resource Management: Oversee vendor relations, procurement, and infrastructure management to support our expanding footprint in the region.

• Reporting: Deliver comprehensive monthly operational audits and progress reports to the Board and Director.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years of professional experience, with at least 4 years in a senior operations or management role, preferably within the education or NGO sector.

• Education: MBA or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.

• Skill Set: • Advanced proficiency in project management tools and ERP systems.

  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks in the Indian education landscape.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of managing multi-state teams.

• Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of making high-stakes decisions under pressure.

• It is a Full Time Sales / Business Development job for candidates with 4 - 6+ years Experience.
