International Sales Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional for International Sales & Purchase in the Metal Scrap & Recycling industry. The candidate will be responsible for handling global scrap procurement from international markets including Canada, USA, and North America, along with sales coordination and trading operations in the Indian market.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and international trading skills with understanding of metal scrap procurement, recycling business operations, logistics, and customer/vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

International Purchase & Procurement

• Identify and develop global suppliers for metal scrap procurement.

• Handle import purchase operations from Canada, USA, and other North American markets.

• Negotiate pricing, contracts, shipment terms, and payment conditions with overseas suppliers.

• Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, and logistics teams for timely import operations.

• Monitor international market trends, metal prices, and sourcing opportunities.

Sales & Business Development

• Develop and maintain clients for metal scrap sales within India.

• Generate business opportunities in recycling and metal scrap trading.

• Handle customer inquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order closures.

• Maintain strong relationships with domestic buyers and recycling industries.

• Achieve sales and procurement targets as assigned by management.

Documentation & Coordination

• Manage import/export documentation and commercial processes.

• Coordinate with finance and operations teams for smooth execution of transactions.

• Ensure compliance with international trade policies and company procedures.

• Maintain records of purchases, sales, shipments, and client communications.

Required Skills:

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Knowledge of metal scrap trading and recycling industry.

• Understanding of international trade and logistics.

• Ability to handle international business operations independently.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in Metal Scrap Trading / Recycling Industry preferred.

• Exposure to international procurement and B2B sales.

• Experience handling North American markets will be an added advantage.

• Ready to work in international business timings when required.

Qualification:

• Graduate / Post Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, International Business, or related field (Scrap Industry)

• Relevant experience in scrap trading or recycling industry preferred.
