Insurance Advisor – Roles & Responsibilities
Identify and approach potential customers through calls, referrals, and personal networks.
Understand customers’ financial needs and recommend suitable insurance plans.
Explain policy features, benefits, premiums, terms, and coverage clearly.
Generate leads and convert them into customers.
Arrange meetings with prospective customers and give policy presentations.
Assist customers with documentation and the policy application process.
Follow up with customers for pending documents, payments, and policy issuance.
Maintain good relationships with existing customers.
Support customers with renewals, policy servicing, and basic queries.
Achieve monthly sales and business targets.
Maintain customer records and update sales activity regularly.
Ensure all sales are done according to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
In simple words: An Insurance Advisor finds customers, understands their requirements, explains the right insurance plan, helps them complete the process, and maintains the relationship after the sale.
