We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the education sector, a proven track record in B2B sales or partnerships, and a passion for edtech innovation. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in the K-12, higher education, and/or corporate training sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., school administrators, education boards, training heads).
Develop and execute a business development strategy to expand market reach.
Conduct product demos, presentations, and workshops to potential clients and partners.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to align go-to-market strategies.
Track market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and partnership agreements.
Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field (MBA is a plus).
1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (preferably in the EdTech or education sector).
Strong understanding of education ecosystems – schools, colleges, online learning platforms, etc.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Data-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Experience working with government education departments or large educational institutions.
Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), digital content, or upskilling platforms.
Existing network in the education industry.
