Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the education sector, a proven track record in B2B sales or partnerships, and a passion for edtech innovation. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in the K-12, higher education, and/or corporate training sectors.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., school administrators, education boards, training heads).

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to expand market reach.

  • Conduct product demos, presentations, and workshops to potential clients and partners.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to align go-to-market strategies.

  • Track market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and partnership agreements.

  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field (MBA is a plus).

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (preferably in the EdTech or education sector).

  • Strong understanding of education ecosystems – schools, colleges, online learning platforms, etc.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with government education departments or large educational institutions.

  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), digital content, or upskilling platforms.

  • Existing network in the education industry.
