Job Description

Role Title: Internal Sales Executive

Department: Sales

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement:

    • Conduct cold calls to prospective customers to generate leads.

    • Respond to and follow up on India-Mart and exhibition inquiries.

    • Reconnect with customers based on previous purchases to explore repeat sales opportunities.

  2. Collaboration with External Sales:

    • Coordinate with external sales teams to plan customer visits.

    • Verify and check tour reports post Regional Sales Manager (RSM) sanctions.

  3. Quotation and Order Management:

    • Prepare and send accurate quotations to customers.

    • Proactively follow up on quotations to convert them into orders.

    • Accurately enter sales orders into the system for processing.

  4. Material and Dispatch Coordination:

    • Work with the sales manager to plan material requirements for customer orders.

    • Track and follow up on dispatch schedules with Production Planning to ensure timely deliveries.

    • Share dispatch details with customers promptly.

  5. Payment and Accounts Coordination:

    • Monitor and follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely collection.

  6. Material Planning:

    • Coordinate with Purchase and Warehouse teams to plan material requirements. Ensure material availability to prevent any delivery delays to customers. Optimize inventory management to balance stock levels and timely replenishment.
