The Inside Tele Sales Executive will be responsible for calling potential customers, understanding their steel material requirements, preparing quotations, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth order closures. The role is highly communication-focused and requires good knowledge of Mild Steel & Stainless Steel products.
Make outbound calls to new & existing customers to promote MS/SS products.
Handle inbound calls from India MART, Justdial, Trade India, WhatsApp Business etc.
Understand customer requirements such as grade, size, thickness, standard, quantity, delivery timeline, etc.
Maintain strong follow-ups to convert inquiries into confirmed orders.
Prepare and send quotations based on customer needs.
Coordinate with the Purchase & Store team for stock availability.
Negotiate pricing within company margin guidelines.
Track quotation status and follow up until closure.
Build long-term relationships with fabricators, contractors, traders, OEMs & industrial clients.
Understand recurring customer demands and offer suitable steel products.
Maintain a customer database for repeat business.
Create Performa Invoices, Sales Orders, and follow dispatch schedules.
Coordinate with the logistics/dispatch team for delivery confirmation.
Maintain call logs, inquiry trackers & daily sales reports (MIS).
Support the accounts team for payment follow-up when required.
Good understanding of MS/SS product range:
Pipes, Tubes
Sheets, Plates, Coils
Flats, Angles, Channels
Round Bars, Flanges, Fittings
Stay updated with daily steel price trends and competitor offerings.
Excellent communication & convincing skills.
Knowledge of steel industry products and specifications.
Strong follow-up discipline and negotiation ability.
Hands-on experience with Excel, Email drafting & WhatsApp Business.
Ability to meet monthly sales targets.
Graduate / Diploma preferred.
Experience in Steel Sales / Tele-Sales will be an added advantage.
Based on experience + attractive incentives on sales performance.
