Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative with experience in the automation industry to drive sales growth by handling customer inquiries, generating leads, and supporting the field sales team. The role involves promoting automation products, understanding customer requirements, and ensuring timely closure of sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound and outbound sales calls, emails, and customer inquiries
Generate and qualify leads for automation products and solutions
Prepare and share techno-commercial proposals and quotations
Coordinate with the field sales and technical teams for project requirements
Follow up on leads, quotations, and order closures
Maintain customer database and sales records (CRM)
Support order processing and ensure timely delivery coordination
Build strong relationships with customers for repeat business
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Key Requirements:
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field
0–1 years of experience in inside sales / tele-sales (preferably in automation, PLC, SCADA, drives, panels, etc.)
Basic knowledge of industrial automation products
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into business opportunities
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, sensors, and control panels
Experience in B2B industrial sales
Good follow-up and closing skills
Customer-focused approach
