The Visa Counselor is responsible for guiding students, professionals, and other clients through the visa application process for study, work, or migration purposes. This includes assessing eligibility, explaining procedures, preparing documentation, and offering personalized support to ensure a smooth and successful visa experience.
Client Consultation:
Provide accurate information regarding visa types, eligibility, and requirements.
Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients to understand their goals (study, work, migration).
Evaluate clients’ profiles and suggest suitable countries/institutions/visa categories.
Application Support:
Assist in filling visa forms and reviewing documentation.
Ensure completeness and compliance of documents with immigration laws and embassy requirements.
Prepare clients for visa interviews with mock sessions and guidance.
Follow-up and Communication:
Maintain regular contact with clients regarding updates and document submissions.
Coordinate with embassies, consulates, and visa centers to track application status.
Follow up on pending cases and provide timely updates to clients.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain client records, case notes, and database entries.
Prepare daily/weekly reports on application progress and approvals.
Keep updated with changes in visa laws, immigration rules, and procedures.
Sales & Business Development (if applicable):
Convert leads into enrolled clients by explaining services and showcasing success stories.
Participate in seminars, education fairs, and marketing campaigns.
Education: Graduate in any stream (preferred: International Relations, Education, or similar).
Experience: 1–3 years in visa counseling or education consulting (fresher with strong communication skills may also apply).

Knowledge of visa processes for countries like USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Schengen nations, etc.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software

Office-based with occasional travel for client meetings or educational events
