The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue by maximizing room sales, banquet/events bookings, and corporate partnerships. This role requires proactive business development, account management, and marketing strategies to attract and retain clients in line with the hotel's revenue targets.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
Identify new business opportunities in corporate, travel, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and leisure segments.
Maintain strong knowledge of competing hotels and market trends.
Source and develop relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, and event organizers.
Conduct site inspections, presentations, and hotel tours for potential clients.
Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry expos.
Manage a portfolio of key accounts to maximize repeat business and referrals.
Negotiate contracts, rates, and packages for rooms, banquets, and events.
Track and monitor client satisfaction, feedback, and retention.
Work closely with the marketing team on promotional campaigns and branding.
Coordinate with the front office, F&B, and banqueting teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Assist revenue management with forecasting and inventory control.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, including lead conversions, revenue forecasts, and pipeline status.
Maintain updated records in the CRM system.
Achieve or exceed KPIs (e.g., sales targets, room night targets, banquet revenue).
