The GeM Executive will be responsible for managing and executing all activities related to the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal, including bid participation, tender documentation, order processing, and coordination with internal departments to ensure timely execution of government orders.
Manage complete operations on the GeM portal (seller account handling).
Identify and evaluate relevant bids/tenders for LV Switchgear and electrical products.
Prepare and submit bids within stipulated timelines.
Handle bid participation, reverse auctions, and price negotiations.
Prepare techno-commercial documents as per tender requirements.
Coordinate for EMD, performance security, and compliance documentation.
Maintain records of all submitted and ongoing bids.
Process GeM orders and ensure smooth order acceptance.
Coordinate with Production, Dispatch, and Accounts for timely execution.
Monitor order status, delivery timelines, and payment follow-ups.
Ensure adherence to GeM guidelines and government procurement policies.
Track bid results, order conversion ratio, and revenue generation.
Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports.
Liaise with government departments for clarifications and documentation.
Resolve post-order issues including inspection, installation, and payment queries.
Experience: Min. 1.5–3 years in handling GeM portal operations.
Industry Preference: Electrical / LV Switchgear / Industrial Products preferred.
Education: Graduate (MBA – Marketing preferred).
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of GeM bidding process
Knowledge of tender documentation
Familiarity with government procurement norms
Strong analytical and documentation skills
Excellent coordination and follow-up ability
Good communication skills
Detail-oriented with deadline management capability
Proficiency in MS Excel & MS Office
