4-5 years if exp in Freight Forwarding Industry only. This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager located in Bengaluru. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. The role also involves developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve sales targets, conducting market research, and providing feedback to the product development team. Additionally, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for preparing presentations and reports, attending trade shows and networking events, and collaborating with the marketing team to drive business growth.
Qualifications
Strong client relationship management, negotiation, and deal-closing skills
Experience in market research and strategic planning
Ability to prepare and deliver presentations and reports
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in the logistics industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Monthly fixed targets to achieve
Ability to sell Air & Sea shipments
Must have excellent knowledge of selling and converting the biz
