Job Title: Assistant Store Manager (ASM) – F&V Dark Store

Location: Bangalore
Salary: Up to ₹4.5 LPA

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a Fruits & Vegetables (F&V) Dark Store. The role involves managing inventory, ensuring quality standards, leading store staff, and delivering high fulfilment accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Store Operations

• Assist Store Manager in end-to-end store operations for F&V and grocery categories.

• Ensure smooth inbound (GRN), outbound, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.

• Monitor store KPIs: fulfilment rate, shrinkage, accuracy, and TAT.

Inventory & Quality Management

• Maintain optimal inventory levels for F&V with proper FIFO/FEFO implementation.

• Conduct regular quality checks for Fruits & Vegetables.

• Reduce wastage, shrinkage, and damages through strict quality control.

Team Management

• Supervise pickers, packers, QC executives, and delivery staff.

• Manage shift rosters, attendance, training, and process adherence.

• Drive performance, discipline, and productivity among team members.

Customer Experience

• Ensure high order accuracy and timely order fulfilment.

• Address escalations related to product quality or order issues.

Reporting & Compliance

• Maintain daily operational reports (inventory, wastage, returns, productivity).

• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and store SOPs.

• Coordinate with central operations, procurement, and logistics teams.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in F&V / FMCG / Q-Commerce / Retail Operations.

• Strong knowledge of Fruits & Vegetables handling, quality standards & storage.

• Team-handling experience is mandatory.

• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work in rotational shifts.

• It is a Full Time Sales / Business Development job for candidates with 2 - 6+ years Experience.
