Sales Education Counsellor

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive – Inside Sales to generate new business, handle B2B and bulk voucher enquiries, develop relationships with education consultants, study-abroad consultants, training institutes and other relevant partners, and convert enquiries into sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate B2B and bulk-sales opportunities through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, databases, referrals and outbound channels.

• Identify and approach education consultants, study-abroad consultants, coaching/training institutes, educational organizations and potential business partners.

• Build relationships with business owners, consultants, counsellors, admission teams and decision-makers.

• Understand customer requirements for English proficiency, academic and other examinations and recommend relevant OSS voucher solutions.

• Promote OSS Education’s exam voucher offerings including PTE, TOEFL, GRE, Duolingo, CELPIP, OET, LanguageCert, ACT and PSI SFE (UKVI), as applicable.

• Handle individual, institutional and bulk voucher enquiries and convert qualified prospects into customers.

• Explain pricing, discounts, voucher usage, booking process and applicable terms clearly.

• Prepare quotations/commercial proposals and negotiate within approved guidelines.

• Follow up through calls, email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and online meetings until closure.

• Coordinate with internal operations/support teams for voucher delivery and exam-booking requirements.

• Develop repeat business and identify higher-volume purchase opportunities.

• Maintain accurate lead, follow-up, opportunity and sales records in the CRM.

• Achieve daily calling, lead-generation, conversion and monthly revenue targets.

• Monitor market activity, competitor pricing and customer requirements within the exam-voucher and study-abroad ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in Inside Sales, B2B Sales, Education Sales, EdTech, Study-Abroad Sales, Exam/Voucher Sales or a related field.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.

• Strong experience in cold calling, lead generation, prospecting, follow-ups and sales closure.

• Ability to communicate confidently with business owners, consultants and institutional decision-makers.

• Strong negotiation, objection-handling and relationship-management skills.

• Target-oriented, self-motivated and disciplined approach.

• Good understanding of sales funnels, lead management and CRM processes.

• Comfortable handling high-volume outbound calling and follow-up activities.

• Experience in exam vouchers, study-abroad services, education consultancy or related businesses is an advantage.
