We are looking for energetic, sales-oriented professionals (MBA preferred) to join our Education team as Business Development Executives in Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai.
The role focuses on student lead management, counselling, and conversion for IGI’s educational programs. Candidates will handle qualified leads provided by the digital marketing team and also generate new inquiries through direct outreach, events, and local engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and convert incoming leads from online campaigns, walk-ins, and referrals.
Counsel prospective students on IGI courses, fee structures, and career opportunities in gemology and jewelry.
Generate new leads through telecalling, follow-ups, and field-level outreach.
Maintain accurate and timely records in the CRM system and ensure consistent follow-ups.
Achieve monthly and quarterly admission and revenue targets.
Coordinate with the marketing and academic teams for promotions and event activities.
Provide regular feedback on lead quality, communication effectiveness, and student needs.
Qualifications & Experience
MBA (Marketing/Sales) or Graduate with a strong sales background.
1–3 years of experience in education sales, admissions counselling, or business development.
Experience in the Gems & Jewellery industry will be a strong advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English & Hindi required; regional language is a plus).
Energetic, persuasive, and result-oriented personality.
Proficiency in CRM tools and lead management systems.
