Education Counsellor

Job Summary:

The Education Counselor is responsible for guiding students and parents in choosing the right academic programs, courses, or institutions based on their interests, academic background, and career goals. The counselor plays a key role in student admissions, career guidance, and academic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students regarding educational options, career planning, and admission processes.

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information on courses, colleges/universities, entrance exams, and career paths.

• Assist students with the application and admission process (form filling, document verification, follow-ups).

• Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions.

• Develop relationships with schools, colleges, students, and parents to promote programs.

• Handle walk-ins, phone calls, emails, and online inquiries from prospective students.

• Maintain a database of students and ensure timely follow-up.

• Participate in seminars, webinars, career fairs, and promotional activities.

• Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, academics) to ensure student satisfaction.

• Track student progress and support them throughout their academic journey.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in educational counseling, admissions, or academic advising (freshers may also apply for junior roles).

• Multilingual skills (e.g., English + Hindi) are an advantage.
