Sales Education Counsellor

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and counselling skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries received through phone calls, WhatsApp, website, social media and other channels.

• Counsel students and working professionals regarding suitable training programs and career opportunities.

• Explain course details, eligibility, duration, fees, certification and career benefits.

• Follow up regularly with prospective candidates and convert enquiries into confirmed registrations.

• Maintain and update the enquiry and sales follow-up database/CRM.

• Coordinate with the operations team regarding batch schedules, candidate registrations and training requirements.

• Coordinate with candidates regarding documentation, payment, joining instructions and batch details.

• Generate daily and weekly sales/follow-up reports.

• Maintain proper records of leads, follow-ups, conversions and pending enquiries.

• Identify new sales opportunities through existing enquiries, referrals and other channels.

• Support the sales team in achieving monthly admission/revenue targets.

• Maintain professional communication with candidates before, during and after the training program.

• Collect candidate feedback and coordinate with the relevant internal team for resolution of queries.

• Participate in promotional activities, seminars, student counselling sessions and career-related events when required.
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Counsellor, Education Counsellor, Sales Counsellor, Admission Counsellor or similar role.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong counselling and convincing abilities.

• Good follow-up and lead-conversion skills.

• Comfortable speaking with students, professionals and corporate clients.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Google Sheets and WhatsApp Business.

• Target-oriented and self-motivated.

• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

• Candidates with experience in training institutes, education, professional certification, technical training, skill development or the oil & gas industry will be preferred.

Qualification

Graduate / Diploma / Equivalent qualification

Relevant experience and communication skills will be given preference.

• It is a Full Time Sales / Business Development job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
