Job Description

Job Title: E-commerce Executive

Job Summary:
The E-commerce Executive is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s online sales channels. This role involves overseeing product listings, coordinating with marketing and logistics teams, analyzing performance data, and ensuring a seamless online shopping experience to drive revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the e-commerce website and marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.)

  • Upload, update, and maintain accurate product listings (descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory)

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory/logistics teams to ensure product availability

  • Optimize product pages using SEO best practices to improve visibility and conversions

  • Plan and execute online promotions, discounts, and campaigns

  • Track and analyze key performance metrics (traffic, conversion rates, sales, returns)

  • Coordinate with digital marketing teams for ads, email campaigns, and social media promotions

  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns in a timely and professional manner

  • Ensure smooth order processing, payment tracking, and delivery coordination

  • Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and platform updates


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or related field

  • 1–4 years of experience in e-commerce or online retail operations

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon Seller Central, etc.)

  • Basic knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and online merchandising

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities
