Ecommerce Operations Executive

We are looking for a Ecommerce Operations Executive to join our team at at Backuplane E-commerce Ventures. The role requires identifying new business opportunities, building long-lasting client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate for this role must have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven record of closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Order Management

• Monitor and process daily orders.

• Download/print invoices and shipping labels.

• Ensure orders are processed within marketplace SLA.

• Track pending, cancelled, returned and failed orders.

• Coordinate with warehouse/packing team for timely dispatch.

2. Courier & Logistics

• Assign appropriate courier based on pincode, product, weight and delivery performance.

• Generate AWB/shipping labels.

• Monitor shipment movement and delivery status.

• Follow up on delayed, undelivered and RTO shipments.

• Coordinate with courier partners for shipment issues.

3. Packaging & Dispatch

• Supervise/perform packaging of orders.

• Ensure correct product, quantity and accessories are packed.

• Follow company packaging standards.

• Maintain dispatch records.

4. Product Listing & Catalog Management

• Create new product listings.

• Perform bulk uploads and catalog updates.

• Update titles, bullet points, descriptions, images, specifications and attributes.

• Identify and correct listing errors.

• Maintain catalog accuracy across marketplaces.

5. Content Writing & SEO

• Write SEO-friendly product titles, bullet points and descriptions.

• Research relevant keywords.

• Optimize existing listings for search visibility and conversion.

• Monitor keyword rankings and competitor listings.

• Continuously improve product content.

6. Pricing & Sales Strategy

• Monitor competitor pricing.

• Update product prices based on market conditions, competition and margins.

• Monitor offers, discounts and promotions.

• Suggest pricing and sales strategies to increase sales and profitability.

• Maintain marketplace price sheets.

7. Data Entry & Marketplace Operations

• Maintain daily sales, order, inventory and shipment data.

• Update Excel/Google Sheets/ERP records.

• Maintain SKU-wise information.

• Coordinate inventory updates with warehouse/accounts teams.

8. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.

• Analyze:

  • Sales

  • Orders

  • Conversion

  • Returns/RTO

  • Cancellation

  • Product-wise performance

  • SKU profitability

  • Advertising/sales performance

• Identify problems and suggest corrective actions.
  

Skills Required

• Amazon Seller Central knowledge is highly preferred.

• Experience with Flipkart/other marketplaces is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.

• Basic understanding of SEO and keyword research.

• Good English writing skills.

• Analytical and numerical ability.

• Ability to work with large amounts of data.

• Good attention to detail.

• Ability to independently manage daily marketplace operations.

• Knowledge of inventory/ERP software such as Zoho Inventory would be an advantage.

• It is a Full Time Sales / Business Development job for candidates with 1 - 4 years of experience.
