Key Responsibilities

Grading & Certification: Assessing gemstones against standard grading systems (such as the 4Cs for diamonds) to issue official certificates of authenticity.
Valuation: Estimating the monetary value of jewelry and gems for insurance, retail, or auction purposes.
Detection: Differentiating between natural, synthetic, and imitation stones in a market flooded with lab-grown alternatives. [1, 2, 3, 4]
