We are looking for a dynamic, target-oriented, and motivated Insurance Team Leader to lead and develop a team of insurance sales executives. The candidate will be responsible for achieving business targets, generating new business, recruiting and training team members, managing customer relationships, and ensuring quality sales in accordance with company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of insurance sales executives.
- Set individual and team sales targets and monitor performance regularly.
- Conduct daily meetings, performance reviews, and sales planning sessions.
- Guide team members to achieve their professional and business goals.
2. Sales & Business Development
- Drive life insurance sales and achieve monthly business targets.
- Generate new business opportunities through customer references, networking, and market development.
- Promote suitable life insurance products based on customers' financial needs and goals.
- Monitor business performance, premium collection, and policy issuance.
3. Recruitment & Training
- Recruit and develop new team members and insurance advisors.
- Train team members on insurance products, sales techniques, customer handling, and company processes.
- Support team members in customer meetings and closing sales.
- Develop future leaders and build a strong, productive sales team.
4. Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure excellent customer service and long-term customer relationships.
- Help customers understand policy benefits, premiums, coverage, and terms and conditions.
- Ensure appropriate needs analysis and transparent communication before policy sales.
- Support the resolution of customer queries and service issues.
5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
- Prepare business reports and share progress with the branch manager or reporting authority.
- Identify performance gaps and implement action plans to improve productivity.
- Monitor lead conversion, pending proposals, and policy issuance.
6. Compliance & Business Quality
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and applicable IRDAI regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper customer consent.
- Promote ethical selling practices and suitable insurance recommendations.
