Job Title: Counter Sales Executive
Job Summary:
The Counter Sales Executive is responsible for assisting walk-in customers, promoting products, handling sales transactions, and ensuring excellent customer service at the sales counter.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers visiting the store or counter
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
Handle billing, invoicing, and cash/card transactions
Maintain product displays and ensure stock availability
Answer customer queries regarding products, pricing, and offers
Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets
Coordinate with the inventory team for stock updates
Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
Required Skills:
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of sales and customer handling
Ability to persuade and upsell products
Basic computer skills (billing software, MS Office)
Positive attitude and customer-focused approach
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Previous experience in retail or counter sales is an advantage
