Counsellor

Job Summary:

Assists clients with visa applications for travel, study, work, immigration, or business purposes. Provide guidance on visa requirements, documentation, application procedures, and compliance with the regulations of different countries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel clients on visa options and eligibility requirements.

• Explain application processes, timelines, and documentation needs.

• Review and verify documents for accuracy and completeness.

• Assist with visa application preparation and submission.

• Track application status and keep clients informed of updates.

• Stay updated on immigration laws, visa policies, and embassy requirements.

• Coordinate with embassies, consulates, universities, employers, or immigration authorities when necessary.

• Maintain client records and ensure confidentiality.

• Handle client inquiries through phone, email, and in-person consultations.

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve application-related issues.

Typical Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).

• Experience in visa processing, immigration consulting, travel services, or international education counseling is often preferred.

• Knowledge of visa regulations for countries such as Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, and United States can be advantageous.
