Mohan Chemical is a growing company specializing in construction and industrial chemical solutions including epoxy systems, waterproofing products, tile adhesives, hardeners, admixtures, grouts, repair products, and related specialty chemicals. We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive business growth, manage key clients, and expand market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Generate new business opportunities in construction, infrastructure, industrial, and project segments.
Develop dealer, distributor, contractor, builder, architect, consultant, and project client network.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Handle complete sales cycle from inquiry generation to payment follow-up.
Identify new projects, tenders, and institutional opportunities.
Client & Project Handling
Manage key accounts including builders, contractors, applicators, dealers, and industrial clients.
Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and techno-commercial discussions.
Build long-term business relationships for repeat orders and project tie-ups.
Resolve client issues related to pricing, supply, application coordination, and technical requirements.
Pricing & Commercial Management
Prepare pricing strategy based on project requirements and competition.
Handle commercial negotiations while maintaining margins.
Coordinate internal approvals for bulk orders and project pricing.
Monitor competitor activity and market pricing trends.
Quotation & Proposal Management
Prepare and submit quotations, techno-commercial offers, and proposals.
Follow up on quotations for order conversion.
Manage rate approvals and project-based commercial offers.
BOQ & Project Estimation
Analyze BOQ, drawings, and project requirements.
Prepare BOQ costing, quantity estimation, and commercial calculations.
Coordinate with technical team for product selection and system recommendations.
Ensure project profitability analysis before order closure.
Meetings & Site Coordination
Attend project meetings, consultant meetings, and negotiation discussions.
Conduct site visits and coordinate with clients/project teams.
Maintain MOM (Minutes of Meeting) and follow-up tracker.
Coordinate internally with logistics, accounts, and technical teams for smooth project execution.
Payment & Collection Follow-up
Ensure timely payment collection and outstanding follow-up.
Coordinate with accounts team for billing and payment reconciliation.
Reporting & MIS
Maintain sales pipeline and project tracker.
Submit daily call reports, weekly sales reports, and monthly business reviews.
Maintain CRM/database of clients and opportunities.

Good communication and presentation skills
MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint proficiency
Preferred Experience
Experience in construction chemicals / waterproofing / epoxy / tile adhesive / admixture / industrial chemicals industry preferred.
Qualification
MBA / BBA / Graduate (Marketing, Civil, Chemical, or Business preferred)
