Job Title: Vendor Development & Purchase Executive
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional responsible for identifying new vendors, establishing business tie-ups, and managing procurement of products at competitive prices while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and onboard new vendors/suppliers for business expansion
Conduct market research to find reliable and cost-effective vendors
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
Handle purchase orders (PO) and ensure timely procurement of products
Compare quotations and finalize vendors based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines
Coordinate with internal teams (sales, warehouse, accounts) for smooth operations
Ensure compliance with company policies and documentation requirements
Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues if any
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and vendor database
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, or related field
1–3 years of experience in procurement/vendor management (FMCG preferred)
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Good knowledge of MS Excel & MIS reporting
Ability to analyze pricing and market trends
Vendor coordination and follow-up skills
Preferred Skills
Experience in FMCG / Distribution / E-commerce industry
Knowledge of supply chain processes
Ability to handle multiple vendors and bulk purchasing
