Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Centre Manager is responsible for the overall management, operations, and performance of the centre. This includes ensuring high-quality service delivery, achieving business targets, maintaining customer satisfaction, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the centre to ensure smooth functioning.

  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance.

  • Manage scheduling, logistics, and maintenance of the facility.

  • Ensure the centre meets all safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

2. Business Development & Revenue Generation

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve enrolment or sales targets.

  • Promote the centre’s programs/services through marketing and outreach initiatives.

  • Identify local business opportunities and partnerships.

  • Monitor financial performance and prepare periodic reports.

3. Customer Service & Relationship Management

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and handle escalated issues effectively.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, parents, vendors, or members.

  • Conduct regular feedback sessions and implement improvements.

4. Team Leadership & Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, and supervise centre staff to ensure performance excellence.

  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance appraisals.

  • Motivate and coach team members for professional growth and productivity.

  • Ensure proper shift planning and resource allocation.

5. Compliance & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, finances, inventory, and performance.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and safety regulations.

  • Prepare and submit periodic operational and financial reports to senior management.

6. Facility & Resource Management

  • Oversee upkeep, maintenance, and efficient use of centre resources.

  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for smooth operations.

  • Manage procurement and inventory control.
