Role Overview:
The Career Counsellor will guide students, graduates, and professionals in identifying career paths aligned with their skills, interests, and market opportunities. The role involves counselling, assessment, placement support, and coordination with training and hiring partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct one-on-one and group career counselling sessions.
Assess candidates’ skills, interests, aptitude, and career goals.
Provide guidance on career options, industry trends, and job market opportunities.
Assist candidates in selecting appropriate courses, training, or career pathways.
Support candidates with resume building, interview preparation, and job readiness.
Coordinate with placement teams, recruiters, and training partners.
Maintain accurate counselling records and candidate progress reports.
Organize career guidance workshops, seminars, and orientation programs.
Follow up with candidates to track outcomes and placements.
Ensure compliance with organizational and client-specific requirements.
