Job Description – Career Counselor

Role Overview:
The Career Counselor will be responsible for guiding students and candidates towards suitable career options in clinical research and related healthcare fields. The role involves counseling, coordinating placements, conducting follow-ups, and ensuring smooth communication between candidates and recruiters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students and professionals about career opportunities in Clinical Research, Pharma, Healthcare, and Life Sciences.

• Understand candidates’ educational background, skills, and interests to suggest suitable career paths.

• Explain various training programs, certifications, job requirements, and career growth.

• Maintain detailed records of student counseling, inquiries, and follow-ups.

• Coordinate interviews with companies and share timely updates with candidates.

• Assist the placement team in shortlisting students for job openings.

• Build and maintain strong relations with students, parents, and corporate recruiters.

• Handle walk-ins, telephonic inquiries, and online leads.

• Conduct career guidance sessions, seminars, and orientations when required.

• Prepare daily/weekly reports on student inquiries and closures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to guide, counsel, and motivate students.

• Basic knowledge of the clinical research industry is an advantage.

• Good organizational and follow-up skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and calling/CRM tools.

• It is a Full Time Sales / Business Development job for candidates with 6 months - 2 years of experience.
