Job Summary
The Team Leader – Business Loan Sales is responsible for leading, motivating, and managing a sales team to achieve targets in business loan products. The role involves driving sourcing activities, ensuring high-quality customer acquisition, maintaining strong dealer and channel partnerships, and ensuring compliance with credit and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Drive sales of business loans through direct sales, dealers, DSA channels, and referrals
Achieve individual and team sales targets in volume, value, and yield
Identify new sourcing channels and strengthen existing dealer and business partner relationships
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to improve business performance
Team Management & Leadership
Recruit, train, and manage a team of loan sales executives
Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets for team members
Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and on-the-job training
Motivate the team to maintain high productivity and customer engagement
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of business loan products
Proven sales leadership and people-management skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
Ability to analyze sales data and drive performance improvements
Result-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in any discipline (Finance preferred)
1–5 years of experience in loan sales, preferably in SME/business loans
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a team handling or leadership role
Experience working with dealers, DSAs, and business owners
