Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to support growth initiatives within the Banking and Insurance segment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in field sales, strong relationship-building skills, and a solid educational background aligned with banking and insurance. This role is based in Bangalore and involves active market engagement to drive revenue and expand the customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through field sales activities.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and stakeholders.

• Promote banking and insurance products to prospective clients through direct sales efforts.

• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competition, and industry trends.

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-ups.

• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and servicing of clients.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience in field sales, preferably in banking or insurance.

• Education: Graduate or postgraduate degree in Banking, Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Location: Must be willing to work in Bangalore with extensive local travel.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Customer-focused approach with the ability to build long-term relationships.

• Good understanding of banking and insurance products and processes.

• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently in the field.

• Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
