Job Description

An online bidder is responsible for generating new business by creating and submitting competitive proposals on freelance and bidding platforms. Key responsibilities include identifying projects, analyzing client requirements, writing compelling proposals, negotiating contracts, and building client relationships to secure and close deals. 

  • Lead generation: Proactively find and identify new business opportunities on various online bidding platforms like Upwork, Guru, and Freelancer.

  • Proposal writing: Craft high-quality, compelling proposals and bids that address client needs and showcase the company's capabilities.

  • Project analysis: Evaluate potential projects to ensure they align with company skills and resources.

  • Client communication: Interact with potential and existing clients to understand project requirements and answer questions.

  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to close deals successfully.

  • Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.

  • Market analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams, such as project managers, to ensure proposed solutions meet client requirements and can be successfully delivered.

  • Performance tracking: Maintain records of all bidding activities, track performance, and report on results to meet sales targets.
