Sales Team Leader – Fintech (Google Pay)
The Sales Team Leader for Google Pay will be responsible for leading, motivating, and managing a high-performance sales team to drive merchant acquisition, user adoption, and revenue growth. The role focuses on executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with merchants and partners, and ensuring consistent achievement of business targets within the fintech and digital payments ecosystem.
Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales executives to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets
Drive onboarding of merchants and partners onto Google Pay platforms
Execute sales strategies to increase transaction volumes and market penetration
Monitor team performance, conduct regular reviews, and provide constructive feedback
Train team members on product features, compliance requirements, and sales best practices
Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, distributors, and local partners
Analyze sales data, prepare performance reports, and share insights with management
Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and ethical sales practices
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and support teams to improve customer experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
2–5 years of experience in sales, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
Experience in fintech, digital payments, banking, or telecom sales preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills
Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment
Good understanding of digital payment solutions and merchant ecosystems
Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and sales reporting
Result-oriented and data-driven decision making
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
