Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented New Business Development Manager / Assistant Manager to drive growth for SLXP across corporate events, experiential marketing, festivals, and corporate gifting & merchandise. The role involves client acquisition, pitch development, partnerships, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
Identify and acquire new corporate clients, brands, agencies, and institutional partners
Generate leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and industry connections
Convert leads into confirmed business through proposals, negotiations, and closures
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and CRM
Client Servicing & Pitching:
Understand client briefs and design customized event, experience, or merchandise solutions
Create and present pitch decks, proposals, and cost estimates
Coordinate internally with creative, operations, and vendor teams for pitch execution
Act as a key point of contact until deal closure
Partnerships & Growth:
Develop strategic alliances with venues, vendors, artists, suppliers, and sponsors
Explore new business opportunities in festivals, IPs, government, and institutional projects
Track market trends, competitor activity, and new revenue streams
Reporting & Targets:
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management
Desired Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Passion for events, brand experiences, marketing, and merchandising
Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive approach
Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and close deals independently
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate / MBA in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
2–5 years experience in events, experiential marketing, advertising, PR, or corporate gifting
Strong corporate network is a plus
Freshers with strong sales mindset may be considered for Assistant Manager role
