Business Development Manager

About the Role
We’re hiring a Business Development Manager based in Nanded City (Sinhagad Road) to drive sponsorship, exhibition sales, brand collaborations, and advertising partnerships for events and exhibitions. The role focuses on selling sponsorship packages, securing exhibition space buyers, and building long-term brand relationships to maximise event revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Sell event sponsorship packages and exhibition booths to brands, agencies, and corporates.

• Identify, approach, and convert new business opportunities through cold outreach, meetings, and presentations.

• Build and manage relationships with sponsors, exhibitors, media partners, and vendors.

• Prepare tailored proposals, sponsorship decks, media kits, and commercial agreements.

• Coordinate with marketing and operations to align exhibitor/sponsor deliverables with event plans.

• Track leads, maintain the sales pipeline, and meet monthly/quarterly revenue targets.

• Negotiate commercial terms, close deals, and ensure timely payments and contract fulfilment.

Required skills and experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in event sponsorship sales, exhibition selling, advertising, or related business development roles.

• Strong knowledge of brand marketing and advertising sponsorship models.

• Proven track record closing sponsorships, selling exhibition space, or similar B2B sales success.

• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Comfortable working in a target-driven environment and handling contract/billing follow-up.

• Proficient with MS Office and comfortable using CRM tools.

Salary and working location

• Salary: INR 25,000 — 50,000 per month (based on experience and performance).

• Location: Nanded City, Sinhagad Road (on-site role, with travel to client meetings as needed).
