Job Title: Business Development Executive – Insurance Affinity Products
Location: Mumbai
Job Purpose:
To drive sales of insurance affinity products by building and managing partnerships with banks, NBFCs, digital platforms, and other affinity channels, ensuring achievement of sales targets, customer satisfaction, and long-term relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, acquire, and manage affinity partners (banks, NBFCs, cooperatives, digital businesses, retail associations, etc.) for insurance product distribution.
Promote and sell insurance affinity products (e.g., Credit Life, Group Term Life, Hospicash, Wellness, Personal Accident, EMI protection, etc.).
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through effective partner engagement and channel activation.
Train partner staff and stakeholders on product features, benefits, and sales processes.
Work closely with internal teams (Underwriting, Claims, Operations) to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Track and analyze partner performance, generate MIS/reports, and implement strategies to improve business outcomes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies in all sales activities.
Develop and execute marketing campaigns, joint promotions, and customer engagement activities with affinity partners.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong sales and relationship management skills.
Knowledge of insurance products, especially group/affinity-based insurance.
Ability to influence and negotiate with partner organizations.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
Self-driven with ability to work independently and in teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in insurance sales, preferably in affinity/partnership sales.
Experience in BFSI domain (Banks/NBFCs/Fintechs/Cooperative sector) will be an added advantage.
